William S. �Bill� Mynatt, 59, Lee�s Summit, MO passed away April 21, 2007 from a battle with cancer. Services will be 2 pm, Wed., April 25, 2007 at Speaks Suburban Chapel; cremation. Visitation will be 6-8 pm, Tuesday at the funeral home. The family requests contributions to the Diabetes Assoc. or the American Cancer Society.
Bill was born Aug. 26, 1947 in Knoxville, TN. When not hunting for fishing, Bill spent his childhood working in his father�s shoe shine store. In high school he excelled on the football field. After graduating, he joined the U.S. Air Force where he served in the military police.
He met the love of his life, Robin while stationed at Whiteman Air Force Base in Knob Noster, MO. After five years of service, bill moved to Kansas City where he founded Mynatt Truck and Equipment Co. He was a licensed pilot and thoroughly enjoyed cruising the sky in his Beachcraft Bonaza with the second love his life, his daughter Samantha.
Bill touched many lives with his loving and easy-going demeanor is survived by his wife of 37 years, Robin Mynatt, of the home; daughter Samantha Mynatt, Dallas, TX; mother Faye Mynatt; brothers Jimmy Mynatt and wife Kathy; Larry Mynatt; all of Knoxville, TN; and many other family members and friends.
