Larry J. Neidel, 69, Independence, MO, formerly of Maryville, died Jan. 21, 2008. Services will be 11 am, Friday, Jan. 25 at Six Mile Baptist Church; interment at Six Mile Cemetery. Visitation will be 6 �" 8 pm, Thursday at Speaks Buckner Chapel. The family suggests contributions to the church.
Larry was born March 30, 1938 in Maryville, MO. He founded his own business in the 1960’s, L & J Companies, where he was a residential general contractor. He was a former City Councilman in Buckner, MO, a member of the I.O.O.F. and served as a volunteer for the Ft. Osage Fire Protection District. He loved to hunt and fish and was a pilot, as well.
Larry is survived by his daughter Sharon Conn and husband Gerald, Hillsdale, KS; son Larry E. Neidel and wife Kathy, Buckner, MO; the mother of his children Edna Carver; brother James Russell Neidel and wife Lillian, all of Independence, MO; aunt Betty Paulsen and husband John, Tucson, AZ; grandchildren Michaela Conn, Joey Neidel and Josh Smith.
