Burial was at Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
Donald was born February 14, 1926 in Kansas City, MO the son of John and Monica (Cunningham) Nelson. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran. Donald was retired from Armco Steel as a crane operator.
Survivors include his wife Mary Nelson of the home; daughters, Catherine Nelson, Helen Simpson, Donna Russell, Christine Shores, Naida McKee, Jean Nelson and Carol Nelson; and brother, Fred Nelson.
Burial was at Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
