John Robert Nelson, 28, passed into the loving Hands of his heavenly Father, November 13, 2010, at University of Kansas Hospital.
A memorial service is planned for 6.00pm Tuesday, November 15, 2010 at Woods Chapel United Methodist Church, 4725 NE Lakewood Way, Lee's Summit, MO.
Interment services will be held the following Sunday afternoon at Memorial Cemetery of College Station, Tx.
John was a person of many & eclectic talents, intelligence, and rare robust personality. His dry, sharp wit and irresistible sense of humor will be fiercely missed by all who knew and loved him. He enthusiastically enjoyed & excelled at programming his Droid phone, building computers, WoW, cooking, and making his family & friends laugh. He was a rock in the wind with a big soft heart, survived by his brother, David; sister, Lauren; father, Rodney; mother, Amy; fiancee, Casey Owens. Also his grandparents, Robert & Diane Evans and Jeanette Nelson and JD & Jane Nelson and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
