Noel J. Lombardo

Noel Jean Lombardo of Independence, Missouri was surrounded by her granddaughters when she passed away on August 3, 2023. Noel grew up in Wyoming with 3 sisters and 1 brother. Noel moved to Cutbank,

Montana and met the love of her life, Michael Lombardo, when he came to pick up her sister for a date. When her sister declined, Noel told him she’d go with him! Noel moved to Kansas City and dedicated her life to being a mother and wife. She was an excellent seamstress, cook and mother to everyone. In every chapter of her life, Noel was known for her warm home, sense of humor and being an avid listener.

Noel was preceded in her death by her Husband, Michael; daughter, Jana Lombardo (Nene McDowell); and daughter; Jeanne Fail (Mark Fail).  Noel is survived by her children Michael Lombardo and spouse Cindy, and Jamie Lombardo. She is also survived by her grandchildren: Christina, Kate, Toni, Andi, Taz, Jacob, and Carly, and great grandchildren: Ivy, Frankie, Atticus, Ember, Michael Harry, and Elizabeth Jane.

Visitation will be held at Speaks Suburban Chapel in Independence Friday, August 11th at 1:00pm followed by a memorial service at 2:00pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Salvation Army or the National Federation of the Blind.
