Frances Ruth Nonnweiler

Frances R. Nonnweiler, 72, Independence, MO passed away Feb. 25, 2007. Services will be 10 am, Sat., March 3, 2007 at Speaks Suburban Chapel; private interment at Woodlawn Cemetery. Visitation will be 6-8 pm, Friday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers the family requests contributions to the Salvation Army.
Fran was born Nov. 25, 1934 in Sioux City, Iowa. She grew up in Independence and graduated from William Chrisman High School. She then dedicated her life to serving others as a member of the Salvation Army. She served in many communities over her 42 years of service. She retired from Salvation Army Headquarters in Kansas City in 2000.
Fran was preceded in death by her parents Hilda & Frank Brumfield. She is survived by her husband of 31 years Fred Nonnweiler, of the home; step-son Edward D. Nonnweiler and wife Mary Rose Martini, Ocean, NJ; sister Eva Barnes; brother Frank Brumfield and wife Ronnie Kay; and nieces Venus Hegle and husband Steve; Star Tebbe; all of Independence, MO.
