Bruce Nordike

Bruce K. Nordike, 46, of Independence, MO passed away Monday, February 18, 2008 at Providence Medical Center. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, February 23, 2008 at St. Mark’s Catholic Church. Visitation will be 6-8:00 p.m. Friday, February 22, 2008 at Speaks Suburban Chapel where the rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. Burial in Floral Hills Cemetery. Contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society. Bruce was born September 29, 1961 in Collinsville, IL to Lewis and Gertrude (Maillet) Nordike and moved to Independence in 1963. He is survived by his wife Lisa (Grant) Nordike; daughter Samantha Nordike; father Lewis Nordike; three brothers Allan, Bryan and Mark Nordike; four sisters Diana Hamel, Debra Nordike, Sharon Echols, and Kim Nordike. Bruce was preceded in death by his mother Gert on January 24, 2001 and his brother Gary on July 26, 2007.
