Daniel O'Dell, Jr.

Daniel J. O’Dell, Jr., 35, Grain Valley, MO passed away Nov. 20, 2018. A Memorial service will begin at 11:00 am, Sat., Dec. 1 at The Stone Church, 1012 West Lexington Avenue, Independence, MO 64050. In lieu of flowers the family requests contributions to Cancer Research at Children’s Mercy Hospital, 2401 Gillham Rd, Kansas City, MO 64108.
Daniel was born March 22, 1983 in Kansas City, MO and attended William Chrisman High School. He was the owner of Royal Rides. He enjoyed Royals baseball and hanging out with his many friends. Most of all he loved his son, D.J. He volunteered for cancer funding organizations and was a member of the Community of Christ.
Daniel is survived by his son, D.J. O’Dell; his father Danny O’Dell, Sr. and wife Paula; his mother Tracy Case and husband Neal; sister Mistey Hines, all of Independence, MO; brothers Jeremy Willis and wife Iliana, North Kansas City, MO; Jonathan Willis, Sugar Creek, MO; Taylor Case, Portland, OR; sisters Stephanie Varney, Independence, MO; Debbie Green, Blue Springs, MO; Jackie Wrinkle, Plattsburg, MO and many other family members.
