Audra Lewis “A.L.” Osborn, 84, of Independence, MO passed away December 24, 2009 at Centerpoint Medical Center. Services will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 30, 2009 at Macks Creek Baptist Church, in Macks Creek, MO. Visitation will be 6-8:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 29, 2009 at Speaks Suburban Chapel. Burial in Parrack Grove Cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society. A.L. was born June 16, 1925 in Camden County, MO to Roma and Alta (Eidson) Osborn. Mr. Osborn was a plumber by trade and retired in June 1995 from Neenan Company. He enjoyed hunting and fishing in his spare time. A.L. loved his family and adored his granddaughters! Mr. Osborn is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Dorothy (Colbert) Osborn; daughter Patty O’Dell; granddaughters Christina Rowe and husband Stephen, Emily O’Dell; great-granddaughters Allison, Abigail and Angela; brothers Audie Osborn, Ralph Osborn and wife Barbara, Jerry Osborn and wife Linda; and by a host of nieces, nephews cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his son-in-law Jerry O’Dell; two brothers Keith and Kenneth.
