Betty Lou Osburn, 75 of Cole Camp, MO passed away Monday, February 6, 2012. Visitation will be from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m., Friday, February 10, 2012 at Carson-Speaks Chapel 1501 W. Lexington Avenue, Independence, MO 64052. A graveside service will follow at 10:30 a.m., Friday at Mt. Washington Cemetery. Betty was born November 28, 1936 in Princeton, MO to James T. and Ethel Ucille (Austin) Donelson, Sr. She was a beloved wife, mother and homemaker who enjoyed sewing and spending time at the lake with her grandchildren. She was married to Joseph Osburn on October 30, 1953; he preceded her in death on May 5, 2002. Survivors include; 3 sons, Marvin Osburn and his wife Pam of Cole Camp, MO, Michael Joe Osburn and Monty Ray Osburn of Kansas City, MO; a daughter, Melody Lynn Blankenship and husband Charlie of Aurora, MO; a brother, James T. Donelson, Jr. of Gladstone, MO; a daughter-in-law, Debbie O’Dell of Cole Camp, MO; 2 brother-in-laws Harold Osburn and wife Norma and Oren Massey; 12 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by 2 sons, Mark Osburn in 1981 and Mitch Osburn in 1983, a sister, Norma Massey and her parents.
