Bonnie Vaye Owen, 93, Sugar Creek, MO passed away Thursday, May 19, 2011 at John Knox Village Care Center.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM, Monday, May 23, 2011 at Carson-Speaks Chapel; 1501 W. Lexington Ave. Independence, MO. Burial to follow at Mt. Washington Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10:00-11:00 AM Monday at the funeral home. Bonnie was born March 11, 1918 in Stephens County, OK the daughter of G.N. Morris and M. King. She retired from TWA as a switchboard operator. Bonnie had been a member of the Mt. Washington Baptist Church and attended the Fairmont Christian Fellowship.
She was preceded in death by her husband Wyman; son, Donald Owen and her parents.
Survivors include some of her friends, Thomas and Linda Cole, Tim and Nona Luke and Glen and Jo Andrews.
