Sherri Lee Paddock, 54, of Independence, MO, passed away Thursday, May 28, 2015. A visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 3, 2015 at Speaks Suburban Chapel. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, June 4, 2015 at the Messiah Church of the Brethren; 1925 Hardesty, Kansas City, MO. Burial will be at Oak Ridge Memory Garden, Independence, MO.
Sherri was born March, 27, 1961 in Kansas City, MO as one of two children to Donald Cecil and Jacqueline Sue (Jackman) Guyer. She graduated from Fort Osage High School and attended Faith Bible College. She married her beloved Clyde Allen Paddock on August 2, 1980 and together they had two sons. She worked in numerous departments for the Mid-Continent Public Library for over 34 years, most recently in binding at the Genealogy Library. Sherri enjoyed making jewelry, cross-stitching, camping, and outdoor cooking. She is a life long member of the Messiah Church of the Brethren. Sherri supported her church through efforts as a Sunday school teacher, life deacon, on the leadership team and at the Missouri Arkansas District level. Her family remembers her for her easy going, loving, and gracious spirit.
She is survived by husband, Clyde Paddock of the home; son, Joshua Adam Paddock and wife Alesha of Sibley, MO; son, Donald Ross Paddock and wife Stacey of Pleasant Hill, MO; grandson, Lane and another grandchild on the way; brother, Johnathan Wayne Guyer of Kansas City, MO; her parents; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends who will miss her dearly.
