Harvey T. Parker

Harvey Parker, 74, of Independence, MO, passed away Monday, April 16, 2007 at Independence Regional Health Center. Services will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, April 20, 2007 at Speaks Suburban Chapel. Visitation will be 6-8:00 p.m. Thursday, April 19, 2007 in the chapel. Burial in Mound Grove Cemetery. Harvey was born January 11, 1933 in Kansas City, MO to Cecil and Rita (Finch) Parker. He proudly served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean Conflict. Mr. Parker was a long-time and active member of Calvary Sounds. Harvey retired after 40 years of service with Bendix. He is survived by his children Lori Lankford, Larry Parker, Robin Moore, Wendy Parker, and Tracy Calhoun; 8 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren plus three on the way; brother Gayle Parker and wife Doris; ex-wife Georgia Parker; and a host of nieces, nephews and special friends. He is also survived by his extended Calvary Sounds Family.
