Jean Parker

Jean Parker, 64 of Independence, passed away Tue. May 15, 2012 at her home. Services will be. 2 pm Fri, May 18, 2012 at the Speaks Buckner Chapel, 300 Adams St. Buckner, MO. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Jean was born on Jan 24, 1948 to William and Ollie Belle (Brake) Parker in Kansas City MO. She was a loving sister and aunt. She was an animal lover and enjoyed doing pottery, painting and spending time with her nieces and nephews, who she loved very much. She was a member of Souls Harbour Assembly of God Church. Jean was preceded in death by her parents and five brothers. She is survived by her two brothers, Melvin Parker and wife Lorrie of Sibley, MO, Paul Parker of Independence; three sisters, Opal Burks and husband Charley of Sibley, MO, Donna Godfrey and husband Jerry of Stover, MO and her twin sister Judy Parker of Independence, MO. Jean is also survived by six nieces, six nephews, several great nieces and nephews and several great great nieces and nephews.
