Teresa Ann (Winsky) Parker, 43, Kansas City, MO passed away Wednesday, December 1, 2010 at Kansas City Hospice House.
A Celebration of Teresa’s Life will be at 7:00 PM Sunday, December 5, 2010 at Carson-Speaks Chapel; 1501 W. Lexington Ave. Independence, MO. Visitation will be from 5:30-7:00 PM at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Kansas City Hospice House and Palliative Care.
Teresa was born January 9, 1967 in Kansas City, KS, the daughter of Frank R. and Sharon L. (Sullivan) Winsky. She had worked for Midwest Airlines, American Family Insurance and lately as assistant apartment manager. Teresa enjoyed tennis, bowling, scrap booking and playing bunko.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather and grandmother; step grandparents, Mr. & Mrs. B.M. Nichelson..
Survivors include her son, Jason Parker and his fiancé Danielle Breshers; granddaughter, Tycie Parker; mother, Sharon Nichelson and her husband Jack; father, Frank Winsky and his wife Barbara; sister, Stacy Richter and her husband Troy; half sister, Amanda Winsky; step-sister, Michelle Mitchell, step-brothers, Roger, Derek and Chad Taylor; paternal grandfather, Frank and Wilma Winsky.
The family wants to express a heart-felt thank you to the thoracic and oncology department at Truman Medical Center for their love and attention given to Teresa.
