Allen Parks

Allen Parks died June 27, 2008. Al was born December 10, 1939. He was preceded in death by his parents, Vernon and Velma Hope Parks. He leaves his wife, Beverly Anne Parks, children Janice and husband David Haynie, Gary Lewis, Michael Lewis, Karen and husband Eric Speer, sister Verna and husband Jerry Sharp, and brother-in-law Ron Buckley. He leaves six grandchildren: Lisa, Wayne, Ashley, Cheyanne, Madison and Shelby, and many cousins. A very special thank you to Dr. Mark Davidner and Dr. Russell Tackett. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Judes Children’s Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
A visitation will be held from 10-11:00 AM, Tuesday, July 1 at Speaks Suburban Chapel, 18020 E. 39th Street, Independence, with funeral services beginning at 11:00 AM. Cremation to follow services and private family inurnment.
