Christopher Lee Parvin, 49, passed away on March 4, 2015.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 10, 2015, at 2pm, at Carson-Speaks Chapel, 1501 W. Lexington Ave., Independence, MO. Family will greet friends an hour prior to the service. He will be laid to rest following the funeral at Oak Ridge Memory Gardens.
Chris worked at Sheltered Workshop JobOne for 31 years. He touched so many people in his brief life with his helpful nature and kind words. He loved cheering for Mizzou, the Chiefs, and the Royals, and never missed an episode of COPS. He danced often to his favorite county tunes.
He is survived by his mother, Sharel Mawby; brother, Eric Parvin; and step-sister, Emily Small. He was preceded in death by his father, Leonard Parvin; step-father, Ray Mawby; and brother, Michael Parvin.
