Patricia Marie Morgan

Patricia Marie Morgan, 82 of Independence passed away November 30, 2024, at her residence. The family will have a private Celebration of Life for her. Pat was born on May 31, 1942, in West Blocton, Alabama to Franklin Fredrick Oder and Frances Louise Oder. In 1958, she married her beloved husband, Danny Lee Morgan. Pat retired in 2003 after working 31 years for the Independence Public Schools. She enjoyed her flowers, spending time with her cat, drawing/painting and sitting out on the deck with her husband Danny watching the birds and squirrels. Later she moved in with her daughter and her Husband, Bryan and Janey Dodson to live out the rest of her life. Pat is preceded in death by her husband Danny Morgan, her parents Franklin and Frances Oder, and her brother Donnie Oder. She is survived by her son Tracy Morgan and his wife Eva of Johnson County, Her daughter Janey Dodson and her husband Bryan, her grandchildren Kristen (Dodson) Capranica and husband Dan, Shane Dodson and wife Brie, Jessica Schmidt and husband Michael, and Mirranda Morgan, as well as 5 great­ grandchildren; She also leaves behind two sisters Joyce Ann Cromer and her husband Carroll of Montana and Peggy Brundage of Texas.
