Patricia Ann Pool, a beloved mother, wife, and cherished friend, passed away peacefully at St. Luke's Hospice House on August 7, 2025, at the age of 85, in Kansas City, Missouri. Born on April 29, 1940, in Atkins, Arkansas, to John and Leona Richardson, Patty's life was a testament to resilience, creativity, and unwavering faith, shaped by her experiences during her early years.

Growing up as a sharecropper's daughter, she learned the values of hard work, perseverance, and the importance of family from a young age. Later in life, Patty dedicated many years to her career at Manor Bread. Outside her professional life, Patty was a woman of many passions. She found great pleasure in bowling, gardening, and crafting. Her garden was a testament to her love for the outdoors, as she passionately nurtured beautiful roses and a variety of other flowers, brightening the lives of those around her with their vibrant colors and sweet fragrances. An extraordinarily talented creative, Patty engaged in crafting as both a hobby and a means of self-expression. She poured her heart into making pillows, brooches, bracelets, dolls, and more, each item reflecting her unique spirit and loving touch. Her creative endeavors often brought joy to her family and friends, serving as cherished gifts imbued with her thoughtfulness. A devout Witness, Patty cherished her faith deeply, viewing it as a guiding light in her life. Her commitment to her beliefs and her involvement in the community at the Kingdom Hall were profound sources of strength and solace for her.

Patty's legacy of love lives on through her husband, Noel Pool; her children, JoDale Doelling (Tim) of Knob Noster, Missouri, Jackie Sachewitz (Shannon) of Independence, Missouri, James Patterson, and Jason Pool (Tracey), also of Independence, Missouri; her grandchildren, Jessica McGuire, Tricia Odneal, Valerie Patterson, Ashia Patterson, Tina Patterson, Josey Pool, Mia Patterson, and Marie Patterson; twelve great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild; and two siblings, Doris Holmes of Blyth, California, and Johnny Richardson of Arizona.

A memorial service celebrating her remarkable life will be held on August 15, 2025, at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses (2885 S Hardy Avenue, Independence, Missouri). Her spirit will forever remain etched in the hearts of her family, friends, and all whose lives she touched.
