Lucille S. Patterson

Lucille Patterson, 68, of Independence, MO passed away Thursday, February 5, 2004 at the Jefferson County Memorial Hospital and Geriatric Center, Winchester, KS. A memorial visitation will be held from 2-3:30 p.m. on Saturday, February 14, at the Speaks Suburban Chapel, MO-291&39th St, Independence, MO. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Jefferson County Home, Health and Hospice, 1212 Walnut-US Hwy 59 Oskaloosa, KS 66066. Lucille was born on September 27, 1935 in Leavenworth, KS to Hennry and M. Irene Smith. She retired from the Raytown School District after a 30-year teaching career. Survivors include a son, Michael A. Patterson Jr.; stepson, Dennis Bowen; two granddaughters, Michele and Kristin Bowen; three brothers, Ralph, David and Joseph Smith; and two sisters, Julia Ann Thomson and Betty Lou Pearson.
