Percy Paul, 74, of Independence, MO passed on February 3, 2008 at his home. A visitation will be held from 6-8:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 7, at the Speaks Suburban Chapel. Services at 10:00 a.m. on Friday at the chapel, with burial to follow at Mt. Washington Cemetery. Percy was born November 10, 1933 in Sedalia, MO to Percy Stuter and Annelyne Grace (Burton) Paul. He joined the United States Army in 1953 and was discharged in 1956. Percy was employed as a service technician at Raytown Dodge for 21 years, specializing in transmission repair. He was preceded in death by his parents; and one brother, Gene Paul. Percy is survived by his wife of 42 years, Betty J. Paul; son, Joel B. Paul and wife Shari; two grandchildren, Jeremiah and Sarannah Paul; two sisters, Betty Huffman, Houston, TX and Etta Marie Ponce, Crystal City, CA; and one brother, Mike Paul, Oklahoma City, OK.
