Paul Snell, 86, of Sugar Creek, passed away peacefully on March 10, 2024.
Paul spent most of his life in northern and western New York State until moving to Missouri in 1996. He served on staff at Kansas City Rescue Mission, led tours of the Harley-Davidson plant, and taught Life Connections classes through the Chaplain’s Office of Leavenworth Penitentiary. He also ministered as a volunteer chaplain at Glennon Place, now Parkview Healthcare. A lifelong motorcycle enthusiast, he was actively involved with the Christian Motorcyclists Association and led Sunday services at the Merwin motocross tracks.
He is survived by his wife, Joanne, daughters Jean (Kris) Kirkwood of Cameron, MO, Christine (Robert) Staples of Holley, NY, and son William of Sugar Creek; sister Mary Costley, New Oxford, PA, brothers Joel (Judith), Webster, NY, and Luke (Billie) of Xenia, OH; granddaughters Sandra Kirkwood, Elizabeth Satchell, and Jesse Kirkwood; great-grandchildren Ava Kirkwood and Daniel Nakamura, and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will take place at Carson Speaks Chapel, 1501 W. Lexington Ave., Independence, MO 64052, Monday March 18, 2024 at 10:00am.Monday, March 18, 2024
