William Paxton

William C. Paxton, 80, loving husband and father died Tue., May 27, 2008 at the Kansas City Hospice House. Memorial Services will be 11:00 am, Mon. Jun 2, 2008 at the Speaks Suburban Chapel, 18020 E. 39th St., Indep. MO with the visitation being held from 9:30 am until service time at 11am. A private inurnment will be held at a later date in Md. Grove Cemetery. Contributions are suggested to the Kansas City Hospice House,12000 Wornall Rd., KCMO 64145. Bill was a lifelong resident of Independence, retiring from the practice of law after 35 years. He helped many people as their attorney, their counselor and their friend. He was preceded in death by his wife Virginia Wilson Paxton and daughter Susan Paxton Block. Bill leaves behind his wife, Kerstin Paxton; daughter, Barbara Paxton DiBlasi, son-in-law Ronald DiBlasi and grandchildren, Dana Block, Megan Block, Paxton DiBlasi, Colston DiBlasi, Weston DiBlasi and Grayston DiBlasi. Bill was blessed to be with his wife, daughter and all his grandchildren in the weeks preceding his death. We were blessed, as was the community, with this amazing man.
