Katherine Payur

Katherine M. Payur, 54, of Kansas City, MO passed April 23, 2014. Memorial services will be 2:00 pm Saturday, April 26, 2014 at the Carson-Speaks Chapel. Visitation will begin at 1:00 pm until service time. Katherine was born on February 16, 1960 to Henry and Irene Payur. She graduated for East High School in Kansas City, MO, and went on to work for the Social Security Administration for 9 years. From there she went on to Longview Community College for her Associates Degree. She then attended Central Missouri State in Warrensburg where she received her Bachelor of Science. And onward and upward she went to the University of Kansas, and was granted a Masters Degree in Social Work. She worked with abused children for 2 years. Katherine also loved to play bingo, and she only went to the Aaratt Shrine Temple. She is preceded in death by her mother, father, grandparents, a brother, a sister, and many aunts and uncles. She is survived by 2 sisters, 1 nephew, 2 nieces, 3 great nieces, and 1 great nephew. She will be dearly missed and in our hearts forever. Online condolences may be expressed at www.speakschapel.com
