Panapa P. Pele, 55 of Independence passed away Sat, Apr. 28, 2007 in Independence. Services will be 10:00 am Fri. May 4, 2007 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints Center Stake, 705 W. Walnut, Indep. MO. Burial in Woodlawn Cemetery. Visitation will be 7:00 �" 8:30 pm, Thu. May 3, 2007 at the Church. Panapa was born on Jul 4, 1951 in America Samoa and had lived in the Independence area most of his life. He was a loving brother and uncle who enjoyed doing puzzles and make Lei’s from beads. He loved the Samoan people and The Church was his life. He was a volunteer for several Samoan organizations and Church activities. Panapa is survived by three brothers, Pauaea Aumua of Antioch, CA, Petelo Aumua of Independence and Highland Mulumulu of Greenwood, MO. A sister, Sue Pese of Independence, MO and numerous nieces, nephews and church families.
