Lavinia Penn

Lavinia J. Penn, 55, passed away May 4, 2009, at her home in Independence, MO, with her family at her bedside. Lavinia was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt. She is survived by her husband, William Penn of 31 years; a daughter, Laurie Roberds and husband Jeremy; a son, William ("Andy") Penn; 4 grand daughters, Brittany, Leigha, Katilynn, and Kieley; and one great grandchild on the way; 3 brothers, Gary Gregory and wife Debbie, Larry Gregory and wife Kathy, and Charles Gregory; 1 sister, Sue Adams and husband Richard; 19 nieces and nephews; and many other family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jackson and Ruth Gregory; one sister, Brenda Penn; and one brother, David Gregory. A visitation will be held from 9-10:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 7, with a service to follow at 10:00 a.m. at the Speaks Buckner Chapel, 300 Adams, Buckner, MO. Burial at Buckner Hill Cemetery.
