Penny Maybell Schlueter

November 18, 1952 - September 19, 2023

Penny Maybell Schlueter, a beloved wife, sister, and friend, passed away on September 19, 2023, at the age of 70. She will be deeply missed by all who were fortunate enough to have known her.

Born in Kansas City, Missouri on November 18, 1952, Penny was the daughter of Claude and Shirley Moore. She grew up surrounded by the love of her parents and siblings: Raymond, Harvey, Ann, Wendy and Mindy. Penny's family was her rock throughout her life. Their bond was unbreakable and filled with cherished memories.

Penny had a spirit that could light up any room. Her vibrant personality was infectious, leaving an imprint on everyone she encountered. Her friends and family will always remember her for her sense of humor, outgoing nature, and beautiful spirit. Penny had a way of making people feel at ease with her warm smile and kind heart.

One of Penny's greatest joys in life was spending time outdoors. She had a passion for camping and fishing which allowed her to bask in the tranquility of nature. Horses held a special place in her heart as well; she found solace in their gentle presence. Penny cherished every moment she spent with animals and had an undeniable love for all creatures.

In addition to her love for nature and animals, Penny had a few favorite pastimes that she treasured dearly. She enjoyed listening to country western music that spoke to her soul. As a night owl, staying up late watching movies and TV series brought her immense joy. And green - it was her favorite color; it seemed to reflect the vibrancy within her own spirit.

Penny's loved ones were everything to her. Todd Schlueter, her loving husband, stood by her side through thick and thin. Their bond was unbreakable, and their love was a true testament to the enduring power of companionship. Penny also cherished the tight-knit relationships she had with her sister, Wendy Moore, and step-son, Shown Dale Schlueter. Their presence in her life brought her immeasurable joy and comfort.

Not to be forgotten are Penny's furry companions who provided her with unwavering love and loyalty. Bell, her cherished cat, and Eclipse, a sweet pup, brought light into her life every day.

Penny is preceded in death by her parents Claude and Shirley; siblings, Raymond, Harvey, Ann, and Mindy; and step-daughter Shannon.
