Paul Robert Penyock, 86, Independence, MO passed away Monday, November 22, 2010.
Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 AM Saturday, November 27, 2010 at Nativity of Mary Church; 10017 E. 36th Terr, Independence, MO. Burial to follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 PM Friday at the church with a Parish Rosary at 7:30 PM. Memorial contributions may be made to the Catholic Community Hospice or St. Mary’s Manor.
Paul was born June 29, 1924 in Sugar Creek, MO the son of Steve and Theresa (Sojcak) Penyock. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran of WWII and a member of Nativity of Mary Catholic Church. He retired from TWA as a mechanic in 1986.
Paul was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Velma Pott, and brother, Tom Penyock.
Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Judy Penyock; daughter, Paula Schultz (Rick) of Independence; sons, Steve Penyock (Marcia) of Lee’s Summit; Frank Penyock (Cyndi) of Independence; eight grandchildren; four great grandchildren; sisters, Agnes Wells of Sugar Creek, Virginia Baker of Tulsa, OK; Betty Daniel of Independence and numerous nieces, nephews and family.
