Betty Jane Perkins, 88, passed away August 11, 2015, in KC, MO. A memorial visitation will be held at Speaks Suburban Chapel, 18020 E. 39th St. in Independence from 6 to 8 pm on August 19, 2015.
Betty was born September 17, 1926, in Potosi, MO. She graduated from Denver University. She worked as a Benefits Supervisor at Western Electric in Lee’s Summit, MO for over 25 years. Betty lived life to the max. She loved spending time with family and friends while supporting the Shrine Motor Corp, KC arts, concerts, and charities. She was a passionate Chiefs and Royals fan and season ticket holder for over 40 years.
She will be dearly missed by her family: son, Gregg Wilkinson, his wife, Jeny, daughter, Marsha Jeffers, and grandchildren, Laura Wilkinson and Haley and Brandon Johnson. She was preceded in death by husband, Charles Perkins, and son, Lynn Wilkinson.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to KC Wayside Waifs.
