Craig Allen Peterson
On Monday, April 29th, 2013 at age 63, Craig lost his battle with a rare degenerative disorder of the nervous system, Shy Drager-Syndrome. He was in the comfort of his home.
Craig was born in Independence, MO. on September 5, 1949.
Craig loved. He loved his wife, Darlene. He loved to give. He loved to work out in the yard. He loved to fix things. He loved his boys, Kevin and Jay. He loved their wives, Shannon and Raynna. He loved to dance around the kitchen with a bit of a song just to embarrass everyone. He loved his nine grand children: Sydney, Piper, Eliezer, River, Wyatt, Selah, Joshua, Daniel, and Emet. He loved his family, mother LaWedna, sister Vicki and husband David, nephew Tyler, and niece Ashley. He loved to read and argue for his ideas. He loved football and a cold beer. He loved lamb. He loved superhero movies and watching them with his sons. He loved telling jokes. He loved his Mother-in-law, Berniece and her Sunday morning breakfast. He loved. And, he was loved. Loved - by many – loved by his large family and many friends
Craig was preceded in death by his father, Wilmer; brothers Dr. Stephen and Scott.
He will be missed, immensely.
Craig graduated from Raytown High School and attended Penn Valley Community College. He served his country from 1967-1971 in the US Air Force. He worked at TWA for over 15 years. Later he joined Quality Landscape to purse his love of gardening and landscaping.
