Margaret Phillips

Margaret "Jo" Phillips, 64, of Buckner, MO, passed away, Saturday, June 19, 2010 at her residence. Cremation is planned with a memorial service to be held at 3:00 p.m., Sunday, June 27, 2010 at the Livings Waters Family Worship Center in Buckner, MO. Donations may be made in her name to Save the Children Foundation. Margaret was born on December 3, 1945 in Helena, AR to John E. and Beatrice A. (Ivy) Bradley. She worked as an LPN for the Kansas City VA Hospital for the past 10 years. During that time she also worked for Blue Hills Assisted Living, Wood Oaks Assisted Living and Autumn Woods Assisted Living. She enjoyed walking and gardening. She was a member of the Living Waters Pentecostal Church in Buckner. She is survived by; 2 sons, Charles R. Bollinger and his wife Monica of Independence, MO and Joseph L. Taylor of Buckner; a daughter, Lisa A. Elliott of Kansas City; 3 brothers, Johnny E. Desman of Arkansas, James M. Maloy of Troy, MO and David P. Maloy of Texas and 5 grandchildren, Charles M Bollinger of Oak Grove; Amber R Bollinger of Independence; Tyler A Bollinger of Independence; Tiffany N Elliott of Buckner; and Jeremy Elliott of Raytown; 2 great-grandchildren, Jaden Elliott, and Corine Bollinger.
