Margaret B. Potter, 77, Independence, MO passed away Tuesday, February 24, 2009 at Carmel Hills Living Center.
Funeral services will be 10:00 am Friday, February 27, 2009 at Carson-Speaks Chapel, 1501 W. Lexington, Independence, MO. Burial to follow at Oakland Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 pm Thursday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions are suggested to Odyssey Hospice.
Margaret was born September 10, 1931 in Bosworth, MO the daughter of Kermit and Maza (Watt) Davis. She was employed with Independence Regional Hospital for 38 years in Dietary. She enjoyed cooking from scratch, going to the casinos and she especially loved her children grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Margaret is survived by her husband Bill L. Potter; daughter Connie Farris and her husband John of Independence; son Billy Potter of Breckinridge. 4 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Sisters, Marlene Bennett of Bosworth; Donna Wheeler of Gladstone; and Marilyn Griffin of Carrolton; and a brother Kermit Davis, Jr. of Kearney. She was preceded in death by her great grandson, John Patrick Farris, II.
