Mary Prall

Mary Prall, 85, of Buckner, MO passed away November 15, 2014 in Oak Grove, MO. Visitation will be Wednesday, November 19, 2014 from 6-8 pm at Speaks Buckner Chapel. Funeral Services will be 10:00 am, Thursday at the Chapel. Burial will take place in Memorial Park Cemetery, Sedalia, MO. Mary was born on July 27, 1929 in Sedalia, MO to John and Ruth (Bohlin) Neitzert. She married the love of her life, Donald Prall, on November 15, 1947 in Sedalia, MO. Their 67th wedding anniversary occurred on the day that she passed. Mary and Don moved to the Buckner in 1962, where Mary became very active in the Eastern Star #501 Buckner Lodge. Mary enjoyed floral arranging, and delighted in making table arrangements for the Buckner Senior Center. She was a straight forward country girl, and enjoyed cooking for family and friends. Mary could often be found running around the family farm on her John Deere Gator. Grandchildren knew to hang on tight if Grandma was driving. She only had one speed, fast! Mary was preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Betty, Roy, Everett, and Rosie; grandson Timothy Joseph Teter. Survivors include; husband Don Prall; daughters Judy Teter (Thomas), and Kathy Hoover (Teddy); grandchildren Robin Wilbanks, and Thomas Teter, Jr.; 5 great grandchildren; and sister Lilly Krretzer.
