Tanya Price

Tanya Melissa Price, 38, of Independence, MO passed away, Friday, January 30, 2009, peacefully at her home. Cremation is planned with a memorial service to be held at 6:00 p.m., Wednesday evening, February 4, 2009 at the Speaks Suburban Chapel with visitation to follow until 8:00 p.m. Tanya was born on September 2, 1970 in Independence, MO to Kenton J. Price and Michelle S. Ganson. Tanya was a 1988 graduate of Truman High School and 1992 graduate of the University of Central Missouri. She worked for 10 years as a Credit Manager for IBT Corporation in Merriam, KS. Tanya loved to entertain friends and family with her wonderful cooking. She enjoyed gardening, and shopping, especially springtime at the River Market. She was a loving, generous, loyal and sincere woman. Survivors include; her parents, Kenton Price and Gary and Michelle Ganson; a sister Rebecca Haney Price, her husband Joe and their children, Lillian and Julia; brothers, Troy Ganson, Scott Ganson and his wife Michelle; grandparents, Milton and Carolyn Harris, Lillian Price and John and Dorothy Ganson. Donations may be made to the City Union Mission.
