Rosalind Priest

Rosalind C. Priest, 96, of Independence, MO passed away November 30, 2010 at the John Knox Village Care Center. A visitation will be held from 1-2:00 p.m. with a 2:00 p.m. service to follow on Saturday, December 4, at the Speaks Suburban Chapel, 18020 E. 39th St., Independence, MO. Burial at Oak Ridge Memory Gardens. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to your favorite charity. Rosalind was born December 7, 1913 to Charles and Frances (Marsh) Ingalls. She spent her childhood in South Dakota and Minnesota. She attended CMSU in Warrensburg, MO. For many years, Rosalind helped produce sales catalogs for Sears. She also worked for many years in the physical therapy department at Independence Regional Health Center. Rosalind was a member of Waldo Avenue Baptist Church in Independence. She loved to travel. Rosalind was preceded in death by her husband, Harold A. Priest in 1993; two brothers, Bill Ingalls and Charles “Bud” Ingalls. She is survived by one daughter, Carol Ann Reubel and husband Dr. Stephen Reubel, of Cincinnati, OH; one son, Charles A. Priest and wife Linda of Blue Springs, MO; four grandchildren, Adam Reubel, Whitney Reubel, Scot Priest and Rex Priest. She will be dearly missed.
