Margie Prine, 78, of Lowry City, MO passed away Tuesday, April 9th 2013. A visitation will be held Friday, April 12th from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Speaks Suburban Chapel; 18020 E 39th Street Independence, MO. Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, April 13th at the chapel. Burial will be at Oak Ridge Memory Gardens.
Margie was born March 18th 1935 to William “Judge’ and Sally Owens.
She dearly loved her family and proudly raised two boys. Margie worked as a book keeper for Electronics & Research for over 20 years. Later, she married Wesley Carl Triplet. She is remembered for her home cooking, fishing trips with her husband and her family holiday events. Margie loved flowers, especially roses and bought many rose bushes for family members. She is loved and will be missed.
Margie is survived by her husband of 35 years, Carl, of the home; son, Vernon Mackey and wife Chris of Kansas City, MO; son, Danny Mackey of Lowry City, MO; six grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren; sisters, Linda Phillips, Dolores Campbell, all of Lowry City, MO; sister, Bonnie Courtney of Lincoln, AR; brother, Lowell Owens of Brookfield, MO; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, sister, Edith Edwards and grandson, Bradley Mackey.
