Mildred Province

Kathy Mildred Province, 92, beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother was called to heaven on Tuesday, January 19, 2010. Visitation will be held on Saturday, Jan. 23 at 10:30 AM with a Rosary at 11:00 AM and a Mass honoring her life will begin at 11:30 AM, all at St. Cyril’s Catholic Church, 11231 Chicago, Sugar Creek, MO; burial at Mt. Washington Cemetery.
Kathy was born on Jan. 7, 1918 in Dalton, MO. She was the youngest of nine children. Kathy was preceded in death by her husband, George E. Province and all her other brothers and sisters. She is survived by her children: Cheryl Shaw and husband George and Robert Province and wife Jean; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Kathy’s family was extremely important to her, having great affection for her children and grandchildren. Kathy will be truly missed and forever remembered in the hearts of her family for all the heartfelt gifts and life lessons she lovingly bestowed. We love you and we will miss you mom
