Anna Pulliam

Anna “May” Pulliam, “Grandma Annie”, 95, of Archie, MO, formerly of Independence, MO passed away Friday, January 11, 2008 at Research Belton Medical Center. Services will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, January 14, 2008 at Speaks Suburban Chapel. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service from 1-2 p.m. in the chapel. Burial in Mt. Washington Cemetery. May was born May 19, 1912 in Hatfield, MO to Walter A. and Vena E. (Hopper) Nelles. She married Elmer David Pulliam on December 24, 1935. They were married 52 years before his death in January 1988. Mrs. Pulliam is survived by her son Larry Pulliam and his wife Sharon, daughters Peggy Loehr and husband David, Sharon Hays; seven grandchildren; twenty four great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren; sister Fay Pulliam. May was preceded in death by two sisters; one brother; granddaughter Kelley Ann Eastwood; grandson Kevin D. Loehr. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
