Dorothy Quarti

Dorothy L. Quarti, 77, of Independence, MO passed away October 21, 2010 at the Villages of Jackson Creek. A visitation will be held from 1-2:00 p.m. with a 2:00 p.m. service to follow on Monday, October 25, at the Speaks Suburban Chapel, 18020 E. 39th St., Independence, MO. Burial to follow at Memorial Park Cemetery, Lexington, MO. Dorothy was born December 12, 1932 in Birmingham, Alabama to Aubrey and Rose (Wilson) Key. She was a member of Sycamore Hills Baptist Church, and retired after 30 years as a service representative for Southwestern Bell. Dorothy was a doting grandmother, who enjoyed reading and crocheting. She was preceded in death by her devoted husband, Frank L. Quarti; and one daughter, Cindy Quarti-Torvisco. She is survived by one daughter, Linda L. Baker and husband Kevin; one son, Christopher L. Quarti and wife Jaylene; one sister, Barbara Luna; and five loving grandchildren, Frank Baker, Jake Quarti, Emma Baker, Taylor Quarti and Max Baker.
