Colleen Quinlan

Colleen Patricia Quinlan, 50 of Buckner, MO, passed away Saturday, December 31, 2011 at her residence. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 a.m., Thursday, January 5, 2012 at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery. The family will greet friends from 6 to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday evening at the Heart of God Fellowship Church in Sibley. Donations may be made to the MS Society. Colleen was born March 13, 1961 in Omaha, NE to Eugene and Constance Quinlan and graduated from public schools there. She was a devoted mother and homemaker who enjoyed horse training, drawing, rock collecting and gardening. She was a member of St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church. She is survived by; 5 children, Shannon Willyard of Buckner, Patrick Willyard of Topeka, Erin Willyard, Brian Willyard and Casey Willyard all of Buckner, MO; 2 brothers, Sean Quinlan and Tom Quinlan both of Omaha, NE; 2 sisters, Margaret Quinlan and Beth Kohanwiz both of Omaha, NE a granddaughter, Kylie Rose Willyard and her dog Guy. She was preceded in death by a brother, Patrick Quinlan in 2010.
