Katie Dawn Rainwater, 22 of Buckner passed away Sun. Sep 18, 2011 at St. Joseph Medical Center. Services will be 11:00 am Fri, Sep. 23, 2011 at the First Baptist Church of Buckner, 131 S. Hudson, Buckner, MO. Burial in Lobb Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 7- 9:00 pm., Thursday at the Church. Katie was born on Nov. 29, 1988 to Jess and Lisa (Combs) Rainwater in Kansas City, MO. She was a lifelong area resident and a member of the First Baptist Church of Buckner. Katie is survived by her parents Jess and Lisa of Buckner. A brother, Kody Rainwater of Buckner; two sisters Jenny Davis of Oak Grove and Jessica Overfelt of Buckner. A half sister, Amy Garcia of Cottage Grove, MN, grandparents, Jack and Alice Froehlich and Velma Irene Rainwater. Great grandmother Edith Fisher, two nephews Gabriel Robert Rainwater and Jesse James Overfelt. Three nieces, Madelynn Rainwater, Jenna Rainwater and Bryonna Overfelt.
