Ora Lee Rasmussen

Ora Lee Rasmussen, 75, of Independence, MO passed away Tuesday, January 25th at the Medical Center of Independence. Graveside services will be 1:00 pm, Saturday, January 29th at Evergreen Cemetery in West Plains, MO. Visitation will be 6-8:00 pm Friday, January 28th at Speaks Buckner Chapel. Ora Lee was born July 10, 1929 in North Kansas City, MO to Frank and Nancy (Steele) Payne. Mrs. Rasmussen is survived by her son George Rasmussen III of Holt, MO, son and daughter-in-law Steve and Bonnie Rasmussen of Kansas City North, MO, sons Dave Rasmussen of Plattsburg, MO, Pete Rasmussen of Marshfield, MO and daughter and son-in-law Mary and Chuck Gooding of Independence, MO; 6 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Ora Lee was preceded in death by her husband George Rasmussen Jr. in 2003.
