Charlotte Ratliff

Charlotte Ratliff, 80, of Lee’s Summit, MO passed away February 8, 2012. A visitation will be held from 9-10:00 a.m. followed by a 10:00 a.m. service on Saturday, February 11, at the Speaks Suburban Chapel, 18020 E. 39th St., Independence, MO. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society. Charlotte was born April 2, 1931 in Denver, CO to Earl and Vera Evans. She graduated from the University of Northern, CO in 1953. She went on to teach elementary school in Denver for 10 years. She was a runner, bowler, golfer, cyclist and devoted bridge player. Her real passion was that of being a mother, grandmother and devoted wife. Charlotte is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, Tom Ratliff; two daughters, Dawn A. Ratliff and Lori L. Eller; one son, Jerome C. Ratliff; six grandchildren, Kyle Ratliff, Travis Ratliff, Shelby Vandruff, Jessica Ratliff, Johnathan Eller and David Eller; two sisters, Lois Hietala and Patricia Walkup; and one brother, David Evans.
