Carroll Jay “C.J.” Ratzlaff, 75, Independence, MO passed away April 12, 2012. Graveside services will be at 10 am, Tuesday, April 17 at Oak Ridge Memory Gardens in Independence, MO.
C.J. was born Aug. 27, 1936 in Canton, KS and graduated from McCune (KS) High School. He worked at Harding Glass for over thirty years and was a member of Glaziers Union Local #558. He enjoyed hunting, repairing old motors and tending his vegetable garden.
C.J. was preceded in death by his wife Kerin Ratzlaff, grandson Logan Ratzlaff and granddaughter Kylee Pointer. He is survived by daughters Brenda Meadows, Clinton, MO; Jenise Pointer and husband David, Lee’s Summit, MO; sons Eddie Ratzlaff and wife Delana, Ava, MO; Mark Ratzlaff and wife Penny, Odessa, MO; thirteen grandchildren and nineteen great-grandchildren.
