Mark Hilary Rawert

Mark Hilary Rawert, Sr., 55, of Lee's Summit, MO passed away November 29, 2015 at his home. Visitation will be from 9-10am Friday, December 4, 2015 at Speaks Suburban Chapel. Funeral services will follow at 10am at the chapel. Entombment will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Please feel free to attend in casual dress to celebrate Mark's life with family and friends. Mark was born on May 31, 1960 in Louisville, KY to Hilary and Eileen (Welch) Rawert. He was married to the love of his life, Karen, for 32 years. Mark had a big heart and was always ready to surprise his family every chance that he got. He never forgot an important date. He enjoyed getting the family together for holidays and special events. Mark was known to say ‘the more the merrier'. He enjoyed cooking the family Thanksgiving meal with his children by his side. Mark's favorite time of the year was Christmas; although he could never wait until Christmas Day to open presents. Mark was a loving husband, father, and uncle who will be truly missed by his family. Survivors include; wife Karen (Watkins) Rawert; son Mark Rawert, Jr.; daughter Katie Mae Rawert; mother Eileen Rawert; sisters Karen Clark and Amy Warsop; niece Jessica Ranger and special little buddies Tripp and Conrad Ranger; his 4 legged friends, Annie Lou and Daisy Mae; and a host of extended family and friends. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Summit Park Church or St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
