Vida S. Reader, 90, of Independence MO, passed away on Monday, March 4th 2013. A private inurnment will be held at a later time at Mound Grove Cemetery. Vida was born February 23th 1923 in La Junta, Colorado, to Arthur and Mabel (Dodd) Shupe; the youngest of six siblings. She worked for many years at Lake City Ammunitions until her retirement in 1985. She is survived by daughter, Jo Sousley of Independence, MO; grandchildren, Troy Watson of Cameron, MO; Scott Watson of Raytown, MO; Tracy Skidmore of Lawson, MO; and Donna Sousley of Souix Falls, SD; eleven great grandchildren; and six great great grandchildren.
