Gloria Carole Reavis, 84, Independence, MO passed away Wednesday, October 7, 2009 at Centerpoint Medical Center.
Graveside services will be 3:00 PM Tuesday, October 13, 2009 at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery, Higginsville, MO. Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 PM Monday at Carson-Speaks Chapel; 1501 W. Lexington Ave. Independence, MO with a rosary at 6:00 PM.
Gloria was born October 11, 1924 in Stamford, CT the daughter of Angelo and Caterina (Visconti) Summa. She was employed with Jerry’s Restaurant for 25 years, retiring in 1985. Gloria was a member of St. Ann’s Catholic Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John H. Reavis, Jr in 2007; her parents and five siblings.
Survivors include her daughters, Carole McManus of Blue Springs, MO; Connie Reavis of Kansas City, MO; son, Randy Reavis of Independence, MO; three grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
