Bonnie Reid

Bonnie “Sue” Reid, 77, of Independence, MO passed away Friday, January 25, 2008 at Centerpoint Medical Center. Memorial services will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, February 2, 2008 at Speaks Suburban Chapel. Visitation will be one hour prior the service from 9-10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Independence Animal Shelter, Memorial Contribution, PO Box 1019, Independence, MO 64056-2345. Cremation. Sue was born July 1, 1930 in Columbia, MO the daughter of Carl N. and May (Buckner) Rexroad. She was a graduate of Stephens College in Columbia, MO and worked for Hallmark Cards at their Noland Road facility. Sue loved traveling in the RV and especially enjoyed being a “snow bird” in Arizona and Texas. Her family was the light of her life and her life revolved around them. Sue is survived by her husband of 56 years, Donald Reid; son and daughter-in-law Gary and Leann Reid, daughter and son-in-law Anne and Chris Brammer; son Bruce Reid; grandchildren Sabrina, Kenny, Jason, Andrew, Sarah and Justin; great-granddaughter Sydney; brother Carl B. Rexroad; nephew Carl E. Rexroad. Mrs. Reid was preceded in death by her son Kemper C. Reid in 2003.
