Lou "Ethel" Reid

Lou "Ethel� Reid, 76, of Kansas City, Missouri died April 5, 2006 at her home. A Memorial Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 8, 2006 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. at Carson-Speaks Chapel at 1501 W. Lexington. Ethel was born on January 12, 1930 the daughter of Elbert M. and Velta Romine Wright in Christopher, Illinois. She was a 1948 graduate of Northeast High School in Kansas City. Ethel worked for Sam�s Wholesale Club and enjoyed her girls on the job that she worked with. She also enjoyed music and watching videos. She married Frankie Eugene Reid on April 15, 1949. He predeceased her on December 19, 1983. She was also predeceased by a son, Larry Reid on July 4, 1996. She is survived by: three sons, Ronnie P. Reid of Raytown, Jimmie A. Reid and his wife Diana of Lee�s Summit, Jeffrey D. Reid and his wife Jenny of Lee�s Summit; a brother, Dudley Wright and his wife Nadine of Independence, eight grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
