Edna Renkoski, 84, of Raytown MO, passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 11, 2008. Visitation will be from 6-7:30 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 14, 2008 at Speaks Suburban Chapel followed by the Rosary at 7:30 pm. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m., Wed., Oct 15, 2008 at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, 8812 E Gregory Blvd, Raytown. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Alzheimer’s Research Foundation, Seasons Care Center, or Crossroads Hospice.
Edna was born in Barry County, MO, to Oscar and Martha. She moved to Kansas City as an adult where she led a happy and fulfilled life. She lived every day to its fullest spreading joy to all she touched. She was a loving aunt, sister, wife, mother and grandmother. Edna enjoyed the outdoors, cooking, and spending time with her family. Everyone who knew her was touched by her kindness and her unique ability to make others feel special.
Edna is survived is by her loving husband of 61 years, Edward; her son, Dale and his wife Debbie; four daughters, Debbie, Paula, Lisa and Sandy; and two grandchildren, Andrew and Amber; two sisters, Rozann and Lorraine; and one brother, Ray. She was preceded in death by her parents, Oscar and Martha, two brothers Benny and Jake and one sister, Millie.
Her family is grateful for the time we had with her and will miss her dearly.
